The Garden

Wow. It's been just about a month since moving into our new home. I love it here. We got the keys on the 15th of April and Crystal and Dick came a day or two later. Made several trips over the next week or so to get everything finally moved.

So..... the garden has been the focus. I love the garden.. Sonny and I have spent any extra pennies on plants and such to make it our own little serenity. The mini pond is full of life now with our 49 tiny goldfish that have now become 29 or so. They love me. I feed them. :)

The flowers, grasses, palms and all the living fauna smell wonderful and the kitties love their new wonderland after being prisoners in a 600 sf apt. for their entire lives. Raider has learned how to climb a tree and has gotten himself into quite a pickle a few times not knowing what to do after reaching a spooky height. He's figuring it out and will be a pro in no time. Samantha is amazed at the goldfish and they have both become quite brave.

So grateful to be able to breath in fresh air again. Thank you God for everything.

Random Fears and Joy's

Got the big check today... Yeah. Taking care of bills and planning on getting the hell out of this tiny one bedroom apartment. I hope our jobs last and that we aren't making a mistake doing this now.

Darcy is graduating next month and we are going to Indiana to see her on this mega great day. I'm so proud of her. I sometimes feel that I'm not worthy of such a great child. And, sad that I missed so much of her life to this point.

Today is Crystal's birthday. This is a miracle as my girl should, by all reasonable expectations not have survived her ordeal with cancer. Prayers work. Thank you God for keeping Crystal with us. And, she is coming to visit this week. Yippee for that!
